Rachel Kukuc

Sports and fitness have followed Rachel around her entire life. She participated in team sports at a very
young age, which in turn established a lifelong desire for teamwork and competition. Rachel was never
the tallest or most naturally gifted athlete, but quickly discovered a huge correlation between lifting
weights and running faster on the track. From then on, she spent most of her free time in the weight
room and found a passion for lifting in itself.

Rachel attended college at DePaul University and studied English and Secondary Education. Though she
didn’t continue with school athletics, she trained for two Chicago Marathons during her time there and
worked at the school’s fitness center. Rachel currently teaches high school English in Aurora and is the
girls’ junior varsity volleyball coach.

Last year, she took the steps to become a CrossFit coach and began working at CrossFit 630. Combining
her love of fitness and her passion for teaching has been a blessing to Rachel, and she is continually
excited to help members reach their goals and live healthier, fuller lives.
