My Recent Fitness Journey:

2015 was a good fitness year for me. I took the time to make exercise and eating right a priority in my life. For the past year, I've been exercising 5-6 times a week and was eating in a way the women's book describes as generally clean.

In August, I was introduced to CrossFit 630 and I've also been running. I had lost weight and was generally feeling pretty darned good, but my weight loss had leveled off, so I started Renaissance Periodization right around Thanksgiving time.

For those of you who have a long way to go, just know that you didn't get that way overnight, so it's going to take some time to reach your goals. Just enjoy the journey and the level of happiness you get from a healthier and more active lifestyle.

For those of you who haven't started yet, just know that the first step is the hardest! I'm down 54 lbs from where I was a year ago and feeling better than I have in years. One of the pictures above is of me with my family in Dec 2014 (I'm the one in the black & white top). The others are of me on my journey.

I'm ready for my CrossFit WOD!

Keep up the work, results will come!
